The layer formation box palletizer moves layers of boxes or crates from the layer formation table to the pallet on a steel plate. This type of palletizer is intended for boxes which due to size or consistency can not be transported safely to the pallet with a traditional pressurized gripper-style palletizer. The palletizer allows internal voids in the patterns and also palletizes boxes with lids or locked layers.

How It Works	Feature Video
The boxes come to the formation layer table by way of a chain conveyor and box spinner that turns each box to the correct orientation for each layer formation. Alternating layer patterns can be programmed into the system. Once the layer is formed, it is pushed with a transfer bar onto the steel plate. The plate is equipped with vertical and horizontal movement that positions the current layer onto the pallet. Once positioned over the pallet, the centering bars surround the current layer, allowing the plate to withdraw and depositing the layer with a small drop.
